CETC is nearing the completion of a “turnkey” installation for a Refined Coal processing system at this location. 1,100 TPH coal will be removed from the transport conveyors to the boiler coal bunkers via Plows, processed into refined coal, and then returned to parallel belt conveyors to transport the refined coal to the Generating Plant. This process reduces the NOx and Mercury from the coal and provides the utility company with tax credits from the government during its operation. This system is expected to be online by the end of September 2018.
